*sigh*

I was yet again reminded why drchase is good for me...he keeps me grounded...

So the Christmas party yesterday was great... :) It was a nice break from the work. It was a mixture of people that work for the VP of Business Services for GBM/GMS, VP of Global Performance Reporting Portfolio Management, and the VP of Global Procurement Management Services. We had it at the Hampshire House on 84 Beacon Street...it was NIIIIICCCCCEEEEE ;)

Not only was it open bar (I only had 2 glasses of wine, both white since I had grilled Salmon ;)) but as we were schmoozing networking, there were a few waiters drifting around with h'orderves, shrimp (with cocktail sauce of course), stuffed mushrooms, and lamb chops...mmmm it was soooo good.

For the main lunch everyone received:
Butternut Squash Soup (I know that sounds nasty, but it was good)
Mixed Salad with, well it tasted like Red wine vinaigrette with a splash of olive oil
And a choice between, Grilled Salmon, Grilled Sirloin, or Pecan-encrusted Chicken
Finally, these cute mini-cakes, 3 on each plate, dark chocolate (gross), apple torte, and pumpkin torte

By the time I got back to my office it was 4:30ish...and I called David and asked if we could go...hehe...more on that later :) Work work work

Side note...want to know how talented David is? Well...I didn't even tell him what kind of wine I had...he said he could tell by the way I tasted when he kissed me...

If he kisses you more often he should be able to tell you the vintner and the year!
