When I first saw one, I thought it was something special due to the look, but its the same 'ol standard cheapo Mustang.

Re: 2005 Mustang GT
I saw one up close and personal when I was at the Ford dealer getting an oil change on my explorer.

I must say that it's not the same old "cheapo" thing. It's definitely nicer than any modern rendition of the mustang I've seen in my lifetime. It actually looks good, and doesn't seem or feel cheap at all. Granted, I haven't driven one, but then again, I don't really think the engineers had a man of my girth in mind when they designed it.

Re: 2005 Mustang GT
Oh, it *looks* great, but at $26k as the base price for the all-out model, it somehow feels that it won't take the kind of beating you should be able to throw at such a car. Also, the V8 has only 300 HP, where an Infiniti G35 has 280 in its V6... I'd expect to get more power out of such a big engine.

I could be wrong though, my parents' Aerostar went nearly 200k before they sold it, and there were no problems with it that should have caused it to die any time soon, and my '78 Mercury Marqui is doing nicely, despite not driving it nearly enough (83k, original).
