Wedding and Home searching

This weekend has been pretty productive! Our house is pretty cleaned up and though we will only be here for a few more months we finally hung some pictures!

Wedding
The wedding planning is coming along nicely, we are going to go back to see the venue we chose in April and I plan to take a ton of photos (if allowable) and I will post them on here. I am really getting into the whole planning of it! The colors are going to be dark red, gold, and chocolate brown. I have already decided that my dress will have the dark red color in it, David will be wearing a tux with dark red vest and tie, his best men will be wearing chocolate brown vest and tie, my girls will be wearing chocolate brown dresses (with maybe a hint of a red, like a sash or something), my dad will be wearing a gold vest and tie...and ummm...yeah I think that's great!

:-D I am getting rid of all my wedding magazines...not completely, but I did purchase a new wedding planner that is also a three ring binder and it's great! We went to Staples and purchased those clear inserts where you can put papers in! I love it. I have separated out my things into the following categories:

Centerpieces
Linens
Favors
Music
Dresses/Accessories
Hair
Shoes
Makeup
Flowers
Cake
Attendants Gifts
Bridesmaids
Tuxes
Invitations
Photographer
Honeymoon
Transportation
China
Ring
Miscellaneous/Ideas

hehe...I love it...I am so happy! The venue we have chosen is called "Castle Hill"...I want to have the wedding in the Italian Garden

If the day is rainy/cold we would have it here in this room:

Cocktail hour would be on the patio:

Reception would be here or in the ballroom:

I will have to get more pictures and pictures that are actually mine!

Houses
We went house hunting on Saturday and that was rather grueling as well...we saw two houses that we liked, one that would be a major fixer-upper and I'm not sure if we want to do that and one we wouldn't even have to touch because the family who lives there did a fabulous job updating it!

Anyhow...back to work with me!

Castle Hill is a wonderful place! you will love it. I was actually in a film "Ghosts Of Girlfriend Past" that took place at Castle Hill for a wedding scene. Wonderful places for photos. (and a nice place for picnics!)

haha...funny...when we saw it they said they were breaking it down because a movie had just been filmed, was the filming very recent?
