So true so very true...but I have become more of a fan of New Zealand Boys and their accents after spending time there last year also...the boys in NZ are a million times nicer to women than the ones in Aussie! You can find some super sweet boys in Aussie but overall almost all the boys in NZ are sweet and fun and caring! :) Jacob was one of the few really sweet boys I met in Aussie who honestly cared and it wasn't all about "getting into your pants" *lol*

lol...then I think Jacob and I should have a chat...lol...

I'd always thought Brisbane-ites were usually a bit 'odd' .. you get some nice folks up there; but in general they can be a bit insular up in Queensland :)

I have no idea what that means dear...

*lol* Yea they are a bit different than other parts of the country I noticed...I think it's because they get to much sun on the brain all year long! *lol* I at least lucked out and got some great roommates (flatmates) so it wasn't to bad but I did meet some pretty "interesting" people while I was there! *lol*
Nov. 26th, 2003 07:00 pm (UTC)
Well, I never thought it was that much sunnier than other places like WA - just a lot more humid! :) It's good that you lucked out well though! :)
Nov. 26th, 2003 08:30 pm (UTC)
Oh yes I hear you on the humidity...I remember getting off the plane and I swore I was having trouble breating! It was SO humid and coming from Minnesota (USA) where it's 0 degrees F in the winter and only about 85 degrees F in the summer Brisbane was HOT!! *lol* I did get lucky though with my roommates... I was nervous meeting them but I got super lucky and ended up with some wonderful life long friends!

Where do you live at? I traveled alot of Aussie and really enjoyed visiting down in NSW and Victoria and places farther south since it reminded me more of home! :)
