Boy how did you get so lucky to travel so much...what do you do for work that you travel so much? Victoria..my roommate from when I was at the University of Minnesota back home here did a study abroad to Victoria and fell totally inlove with it...he said he wanted to move back there someday! I didn't make it there but wanted to..it's on one of my places to visit when I come back! Out of all the places you have lived, whats your favorite!?!

ps...26 degrees C is equal to 79 degrees F :) (thank goodness for online conversions! *lol* )

I've also been to the US for work too :)

Umm.. out of all the places, easily Western Australia (Perth).... best beaches in the world, great weather (warm without being humid), and lots of fit people (I love my sport!)

Boy I'm jealous...I've not traveled that much...I've traveled throughout most of the US but the only counties besides the US I've been to are Canada (and that doesn't count since I only live 4 hours south by car from the border), England, New Zealand and Australia...I love traveling and wish I could do more of it! How do you get to travel so much?? What do you do for a job that allows you to travel?

How is it that Perth isn't as humid as the other cities in Australia? I know the east coast of the US can be just as humid as the west coast...I wonder why that is Perth isn't so humid!

Perth gets sea breezes off the Indian Ocean... since prevailing winds tend to go west to east, it works out better than the east coast where the winds tend to be warmer since they've come across the land and been heated up. Not sure why the same isn't true for the US, probably something to do with the hemispheres or something.

And I work for an IT consulting company :)
Btw, we seem to be talking a lot... mind if I add you as a friend?

I never thought about the breezes being different changing the amount of humidity...I'm not sure the reasons why it's different here...I know my best friend lives in South Carolina and it's SO humid there and thats on the southern end of the East Coast...I remember driving down to visit her when she first moved there about 4 years ago and was so shocked at the weather...I bet though it has something to do with the hemispheres...I also know the contential divide there off of Australia makes a different in weather so that might influence the eastern side more.

IT...thats a big and upcoming field! Do you enjoy it? If it has you traveling that much I could see why you would love it...I've often thought of getting into Wilderness Education where I take kids and groups backpacking to various places of the world so I can travel more...it's something I've been debating for a while now!

Please feel free to add me...I'll add you back! :)

IT's ok for a while, but unless you're REALLY nerdy, I don't think a lot of people see it as a 'do it for the rest of your life' type thing; it's exciting for a while though. Education stuff is cool; I'd like to do that eventually... although what in, I'm not sure.

And added you on :)
