Money, money, money, money, money- - - - -

I'm into money------ I'm into money------ more so than usual anyway :)

I am getting $2,748 from the Fed's and $321 back from the beautiful state of Massachusetts!

*thinks of the possibilities* I haven't decided what I am going to do with all that money...I think $1000 of that will go to my new place though along with the money my mom is sending me...I think I will invest the other money by increasing the amount of money taken out for my 401K to 10% :D YEAH! WOoooohooooo... :D What else?

I will also be getting money back from my closing in March...hmm...I think maybe 15% of my big chunk will go to savings, about 5% goes to my condo, and another 10-15% to my school loans :) The more I pay the better off I am!

*steps away to do some calculations*

Hmm...it's going to be a little tight, but I'll do it :) This will work out beautifully! Wheeeeeee

Oooh... :) 6 months today :)

$2,748 from the Fed's
You are giving the Goverment an interest free loan. This is not thier money, it is yours. Change your W4 to 1 instead of 0.

$321 back from the beautiful state of Massachusetts!
Just remember that next time you have to pay taxes twice on a car you register in this state.

W-4 is at 1 and not 0 :) It is probably all my tax deductions...lol...

I had to pay taxes twice for my car? When?

Re:
When you buy your car and then register it in MA, you pay sales tax. You pay $35 every 2 years (price subject to change) to register your car, and then every year you get an excise tax bill from the city where you live, which is essentially the "tax to park your car here."

They get you any way they can. My whopping tax refund from the state this year is $6.
