Home Buyer News

So...David and I are in the process of purchasing our first condo together. It is very exciting, however, also scary and expensive. The place is 1600 square feet, 2 car garage, 3 story townhome, 2 bedrooms, and 1.5 baths. Here are pictures:

you can't buy that one. It looks WAY cooler than my house and I'm getting envious.

lol...I'm sure your house is bigger though.

Though i'm pretty sure I have a bigger yard! hehe

haha...that would be true. I am surprised, I guess I assumed houses were a bit larger in Texas? Though...I'm sure yours was much less expensive... :-( I don't even want to think about that though. *sigh*

COOL! I love it. I think they went a bit crazy with the whole painting colors though, arent you supposed to do ONE wall in the room crazy cool awesome tones, and then the rest a subtle relaxing tone? Or did my gay gene fall out while I slept, and its the new in thing? :o

The place is awesome... I hope it all goes smoothly!! Youre becoming a debt covered grown up now, does it feel as terrifying as it sounds? ;)

hehe thanks! We are pretty excited and it is very nice! As for the colors, I think you're right. I plan to fix it. :-) The blue room is going to be changed. And the master bedroom are going to have the color of brown and either green or blue. Which do you think I should do, green or blue? Or...should I do a different color all together, like a cream or a taupe maybe?

And yes it is even more terrifying as it sounds :-)

Brown is awesome with caramel, cream or taupe right now! haha... but its a passing trend maybe? Its hard to know for sure amiright? haha

Brown and blue or green sounds a bit unusual, but I think it would just depend on the green... if you went a nice mossy or sage green with a warm lighter soft brown it could be awesome! :D

This is the gayest conversation I've ever had, I think. I said taupe AND sage. Now we just need FABULOUS. ;)

It is hard to know for sure. The brown wouldn't be dark anyway, it would be almost a coffee color, a lot softer than say, chocolate brown. It would be a lighter color than the brown in the bathroom. The blue would be almost a sky or baby blue and the green would most definitely be more a mossy or sage green. I want pink, but David won't go for that :-p

Isn't that fabulous?

You can always photoshop the walls first to see what you like, its so much easier than painting.

No pink? Oh what. I think once you do it, and put the lacy covers on the bed... You could even do a flamingo theme perhaps? Hahaha... green carpet like grass, and flamingo walls. YEAH! :)

And it looks like there's room for bookshelves. :D

hehe, yes there is so much space, though David has insisted that the trashy romance novels be boxed :-p
