A prayer?

So I am not religious at all...I think organized religions are just a way for other people to control other people. However, I like to believe that there is a higher power. I thought of how I rarely ever think of what is going on in the Middle East...and I just wanted to send a special wish of prayer, hope, and thankfulness for those who protect our country.

Your (our) prayer
Let me join you in your prayer.

Bear with me, while I learn the navigation of the community sites! In case I posted to the wrong site, let me include the following in answer to your query. (at least I was smart enough to copy it!)

"Hi Natalie! Thanks for the Capitol Steps Recommendation. My journal will reflect my assessment of the evening. Regarding the SUN article, I dug out my copy and was thrilled to see that you (my only correspondent thus far)were quoted big time and in bold type! Way to go Natalie! If I were more than just a computer duh, I could scan it an e-mail it to you, but since I have neither computer talent nor a scanner, a few suggestions from an amateur researcher will have to suffice. The e-mail of the SUN contact is glissot@seattleu.edu. Her name is Tracy Glisson and she is the editor. I am sure she can help you. Of Course, there is the campus library. Here is a long shot. I think I saw the name of the article author, Sean Reid, pop up somewhere in this community, but I sure can't find it now. You may know him. BTW, I see no reason why computer science and poetry cannot peacefully co-exist! lol!"

How about a prayer for the thousands of Arab children the US government kills?
