A brief update

Well, here I am again writing in my ECIS 469 class… :( Bad Natalie ;) Okay, so here we go...

  • I almost died yesterday
I was driving along I-5 going North bound towards my boyfriend’s house and for those of you who don’t know I drive a little 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage. Well anyway, this huge ass suburban started moving in on me. So I swerve and almost hit the guardrail. I was going 70mph…I just realized afterwards that I could have died…haha…jerk.

  • Full-time Jobs
Currently I am looking for a full-time position and I have had 1 unsuccessful job interview which is okay because I am judged on being hired by a computer, therefore I have to meet a certain standard. I had 1 semi-successful interview with another company. I say semi-successful because it is one of those interviews where I have to do like 3…I have completed the first two, now I just need to make it to the last round which I am supposed to know about in mid-March. (cross fingers) Insiders tell me that I will be called back for the third interview.

  • Part-time jobs
I know I have said this before but I now have a part-time job, I have been working between 15-25 hours a week… :) Yah me! I am liking I so far, very little stress and I am always on my feet which I like, I love staying busy I get bored and update my rèsumès when I am not busy.

Something similar happened to me once a couple years ago. I was driving past Seattle on I-5 and this big ol' delivery truck starts moving over straight into me. In a knee-jerk reaction, I swerved to the left and into the next lane, tires squealing, rear end fishtailing and all. Scared the bejeezus out of me, but considering I hadn't even looked into the other lane, I was really lucky that it was clear. If it hadn't been... man, that would have been an absolutely nasty crash.

Oh yeah...well I didn't even realize that I was so close to the guard-rail so I ended up swerving back into my lane and at that point i think he realized that I was there so he went back into his lane, but I thought I was going to lose control of my car...I started fish-tailing as well...

Same here!!!!
I was randomly reading your post here - not sure why I chose this one, but your first bullet point really made me think about what actually happened to me!! -- Obviously I am still alive, but I totaled my car going westbound on 520, this huge truck was moving into me (he didn't see my little hatchback), so I either swerved away or let him hit me. So... I decided to move away - I swerved, lost control of my car (no anti-lock brakes... grrr) my brakes stopped working because they locked after I swerved and I actually hit the guardrail. My little Honda after hitting the guardrail flipped upside down... skidded across four lanes of traffic (upside down) and finally came to a stop on the other side of the freeway all during rush hour! - Amazingly, I was not hit by any other car, I did not hit any other car and I climbed out of my car without any major physical injury. Since the truck didn't stop after I crashed my car because of him, the crash is all my fault since I had no way of proving he almost hit me... no I'm left with no car.... *sigh* Oh well, at least that little car saved my life!! :) My reason for not meeting you the last time I was suppose to, I don't think I went to school that day -- my apologies :)!

Re: Same here!!!!
That's okay, I understand :) That sucks...fortunately I did not get into an accident, I did however get into an accident about a week into school in September, it wasn't my fault and the guy just went through a stop sign where I had the right of way... C'est la vie...

Like I said, let me know when you want to get together or if you want just ask me questions here.
